Unfortunately, the program was not yet available in many countries in the world.

Many young people who lack access to knowledge that can help them have the correct information in order to distance from the tragic consequences. Among other conditions cause more than 5 million young people living with HIV. As many as 45 percent of which occurred in the age of 15-24 years.

Other data show, every year at least 111 million new cases of disease transmission through sexual contact occurred at age 10-24 years. Other cases, as many as 4.4 million children aged 15-19 years old women having an abortion is not safe. Approximately 10 percent of the world’s births occur among adolescent girls are vulnerable to death during childbirth.

To overcome the fact that, UNESCO developed new guidelines entitled “International Guidelines on Sexuality Education”. Guidelines that explain, what is sex education and why it is important to say.

In the guidelines, the material must include the six concepts, namely the relationship of values; attitudes and skills; culture, society, and law; human development; sexual behavior; as well as reproductive and sexual health. Sex education itself is divided in age groups 5-8 years, 9-12 years, 12-15 years, and 15-18 to the top.

“At the present time, education becomes a powerful weapon to deal with matters relating to the issues important to prevent young children from the mistake of looking at sex,” says Mark Richmond, Director of the Division for the Coordination of UN Priorities Education and Coordinator of the Global HIV and AIDS Unesco.

“Based on the evidence, many young people who do not have access to knowledge that can help them get the right information so they can avoid the wrong action. These new guidelines are expected to overcome the gap,” said Mark.

Gadjah Mada University (UGM) initiated the use of local wisdom for a number of solutions of the problems that the people of the world.

Rector of UGM Prof Sudjarwadi’s opinion, actually lot of local wisdom of a solution able to serve as the various problems of the world. Only, the problem many local wisdom that has not been left out of academia. This is the interpretation that local wisdom in Indonesia is not clear application.

The Rector idea’s of the local wisdom was born since 2003 ago, every nation in the world have a history for contemplation on how to overcome a problem. Well, if the wisdom of all nations in the world can be mixed into something harmonious, so that wisdom can be a solution for the problems the community.

“Local wisdom into contemplation persistence with fellow human beings and nature for centuries. Thus, it should be description with the outside world. But application is not yet clear, these we hardworking,” said Sudjarwadi in organizing the series of World Conference on Science, Education and Culture (Wisdom) in 2010 in the University Center (UC) UGM.

Currently, the order should be included among the new generation of young and educated people to join together with the local wisdom of the world in order to overcome the various problems of human beings. So that harmony can be realized and the conflict can also overcame.

“We see the local culture can maintain the perception of the world. In fact, the strength can be a big problem in the world through culture,” he said. About the World Conference on Science, Educational and Culture will be held in the UGM in 2010, he was informed that the UGM has started on the importance of harmonization of the local wisdom of the nations in the world.

This can be used as capital to complete the global issues since 2003. Related to this, UGM has to fly at once notice the invitation to all districts and cities in Indonesia, including the legislator to be able to follow a series of activities.

He hopes there’s a combination of knowledge with the UGM in the region that can ultimately improve the welfare of the community. In the same opportunity, professor of Department of Cultural Anthropology Faculty of Culture (FIB) UGM Prof Heddy Shri Ahimsa, said the local wisdom that academic left has not been many reasons for legality.

In the future, academics need to keep the local wisdom into wisdom of the world. According to him, many local wisdom in India that have not been in complete to explore for resolve various problems, such as food and Handling terrorism. He acknowledges that there local wisdom can not afford to complete all problems.

However, at least, there is wisdom that can be used to complete a number of problems. For such purpose, UGM and include 15-20 universities in the world to follow the series of events in world conference. (okz)
