Radboud University Nijmegan offer the program “Huygens Scholarships Program” for students who are interested to continue their education at the University of the Netherlands. Huygens Scholarship Program is a scholarship program that provided by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of the Netherlands for the academic year 2009-2010.
The HSP Huygens Program opens opportunities to students who have talent and desire to travel to education in the Netherlands, and a maximum of 35 years of age from all over the country. This opens the opportunity, both for the undergraduate program is completed (S-1) levels end, and are completing a Master program (S-2). Education can also be done in the form of research and program or a Master (S-2) and applied in the period up to 2 years.
Some of the overall education funding will be provided for students to follow the best programs the Dutch language and literature, languages or programs culture and the Netherlands (Neerlanddistiek). Furthermore, the selection committee has been appointed by the Minister of ducation, Science and Culture of the Netherlands will select candidates eligible for the scholarship program Huygens.

It’s not just high school students anymore. A lot of older people, myself included are having to make the decision of trying to find work in our current field or go back to school and try something different. Cost is a big deal, especially since scholarships are few and far between for older people starting or trying to finish their degree program.
